Meanwhile, The Daily Mail claims the club have resumed interest in Spain Under 21 midfielder Javi Martinez. The paper says United are considering an £18m bid in January for the Athletic Bilbao player.
The same paper says The Football Association still hasn't received UEFA's full reasons for the three-match international ban imposed on Wayne Rooney after his send-off for England against Montenegro, but will decide this week whether to appeal against the sanction. If so, the FA will have three days to notify UEFA of their wish to appeal and then six days to submit a case.source : manutd
