11:50 It was such a shame for Wes Brown to score an own goal at the weekend after such long service at Old Trafford. Nemanja Vidic felt the same, telling MUTV: "Wes is a professional, committed player and he showed his class, but sometimes you are unlucky as a defender. He was unlucky for the goal. Overall I'm pleased for him because he is playing week in, week out, which is what he needed. I wish him all the best." (NC)
11:03 Just a reminder that tomorrow's Reserves clash at Newcastle and Saturday's Academy fixture with Stoke have both been postponed, meaning there's no club football to look forward to unfortunately. (Adam Marshall)
10:47 There's no club football this week but plenty of United players are on international duty. Make sure you read our round-up of who's involved where so you know when to check back for updates. (NC)
10:32 There are some interesting stories in the papers this morning about the secrecy that surrounded the renaming of North Stand. Only those who absolutely needed to know were informed of the plan... and I can tell you now that didn't include any of us here on ManUtd.com! It was as much a surprise to us as it was the 76,000 people who packed into Old Trafford on Saturday. (NC)
10:02 Good morning. It's been an eventful weekend at Old Trafford, with the North Stand renamed the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand in honour of the United manager. If you weren't fortunate enough to be here at Old Trafford to witness the unveling, you can watch it now in a free four-minute video on ManUtd.com - courtesy of our good friends at MUTV.
